TUTTA BELLA
Tutta Bella D'Asporto is the newest addition to the Tutta Bella family! The truck itself is a retrofitted shipping container that has been outfitted with a spectacular Acunto wood-fired oven from Napoli, Italy. The oven along with other stylish design features make D’Asporto (Italian for on-the-go) an unique attraction in addition to providing stellar food and beverages.
I worked alongside the Tutta Bella team and acclaimed Graham Baba Architects to concept the interior design and functionality while leading the exterior design of what would be made to look like an original Italian delivery truck. The truck and container were hand painted to give it that authentic 'look and feel' by the one and only Reid Signs. Towards the end of the project we were running up against budget and time restraints. We determined that if we were flexible and chose an alternative interior wall finish and delay the add of the overhead awning, we could finish the project on time and on budget and keep our client happy.
